Supplies of honest and easy to understand information.

If you’re considering breast implant surgery you’ll soon realise just what a minefield of conflicting advice and information is available.  There are so many questions you want to ask but just where can you go to get honest answers?  We can help…………

The Breast Implant Information Society (BIIS) is an independent and self-supporting organisation based in the UK.  We’re not here to sell you surgery or introduce you to surgeons and we’re not here to judge you or tell you that implants should be banned.  What we will do is give you the opportunity to obtain all the information you need both before and after surgery.  We’ll  guide you through every step of the way, and provide one-to-one advice and support should you need it.

The information we offer is practical, down-to-earth and easy to understand, and has been obtained from careful research amongst implanted women.  There’s no better way to find out what the experience is really like.

Since our launch in 1998 we’ve provided information, advice and support to thousands of women who have or are considering breast implants for cosmetic or reconstructive reasons.  We’ve also assisted the Department of Health with their research, and we’ve presented our findings and statistics as evidence at the House of Commons.

We provide our information and support in several ways  -  we’ve got a unique book,  The Ultimate Cleavage and a Membership Scheme with a yearly newsletter to keep you constantly up-to-date.  We’ve also got a telephone/email helpline and we can provide you with the opportunity to contact other implanted women.
